Over the past years with many starts and stops leading to frustration, I learned to make some lifestyle changes that I continue with today. I was 50lbs heavier, not quite as active as I should have been and ate my share of junk foods because they were convenient and fast. 

Processed foods seemed quick and easy to prepare and eat. Never seemed to have enough time to prepare or eat real foods. The life of a salesman. Poke three holes in it, nuke it and voila instant meal. Package said “Healthy” so it must have been. WRONG!


What would my life be like if I continued this way? Changes needed to be made to my lifestyle. Long term I was going to suffer if I continued with this pattern. I changed the way I was eating to real whole foods, started being more active with more walking and then running, eventually completing my first marathon in 2005 and 5 more since then.

Changed careers from the technical IT world to that of wellness and coaching to people achieve their personal wellness goals. Helping my overloaded adrenals in the process. Still working on me. I have found it is not an over night fix. Much as we look for that quick fix. It is not there.

Today, I am much healthier, leaner, fitter and happier. I eat healthily most of the time and I’m able to stick to a meal plan and avoid junk food most of the time. It is amazing how these positive changes have affected my wellbeing.  Still a work in progress but always improving.

Nutrition and coaching others has become a true passion of mine. Running, Hiking, Skiing, Snowshoeing are some of the things I love to do. I am a graduate Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and have a diploma in Holistic Nutrition as well as Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified.
