We all have the same 24 hours or 86400 seconds. We sleep on average 8 hours. Some of us a bit less, some a bit more. So that leaves 16 hours of usable time. To eat, work, play. I have heard it all to often “I do not have time to eat well or prepare my meals using good, real food.” “Or have the time to exercise. Run or walk or the gym.” I like to run so will use running as an example, Did you know that a 1 hour run or any activity for that matter is only 4% of our total day. Any idea how much 15-20 minutes of food prep is? 1%! Not much when you look at it that way.
Just take the time. To walk or run or bike. 15 minutes 30 minutes whatever you can is better than nothing. Take the time to prep some real food. Again 15 to 20 minutes, 1% of your total day, and you can have a wonderful meal that will get you and keep you going. Breakfast! Best time to start. Scramble a couple of eggs and have them with some leafy greens like spinach or kale. Any greens work! Try it. So quick and simple. Bet it takes less time than to wait in line for a Tim’s Muffin.
